The problem

Fluent Forms captures what people type into your forms, but misses the context. How did that visitor find your site? Which ad did they click? That data exists in the URL and referrer, but Fluent Forms can't see it on its own.

How to set it up

Add hidden fields to your Fluent Forms forms. SourceTag's script spots those fields and fills them in when someone submits. Channel, source, campaign, click IDs, and landing page all come through without the visitor doing anything extra.

1

Install SourceTag on your site

Install the SourceTag WordPress plugin and enter your Site ID.

2

Add hidden fields to your Fluent Forms form

In Fluent Forms, add hidden fields named st_fc_channel, st_fc_detail_1, st_fc_detail_2, etc. See the full field list in your SourceTag dashboard.

3

Submit a test form

Visit your site with ?utm_source=test&utm_medium=cpc and submit a form. Check the submission for attribution data.

Where your data ends up

Fluent Forms sends form data to your CRM, email tool, or wherever you've connected it. The attribution data rides along in the hidden fields.
