Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan

You can change your SourceTag plan at any time from the dashboard. Stripe handles the billing changes automatically.

How to change your plan

Log in to your SourceTag dashboard
Go to Billing from the main navigation
Click Manage Subscription
In the Stripe customer portal, select the plan you want to switch to
Confirm the change

Upgrades

When you upgrade to a higher plan:

The change takes effect immediately. Your new plan limits (more sites, more submissions) are available straight away.
You’re charged a prorated amount. Stripe calculates the difference between what you’ve already paid for the current billing period and the cost of the new plan for the remaining period. You pay only the difference.
Your billing date stays the same. Future invoices will be at the new plan’s price on your regular billing date.

Downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower plan:

The change takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep your current plan’s limits until the period you’ve already paid for ends.
No refund is issued for the current period. You’ve already paid for the higher plan through the end of the billing period, so you continue to have access to it.
From the next billing date, you’re charged the lower plan’s price.

What happens if you exceed the lower plan’s limits

If you’re currently using more sites than the lower plan allows (e.g. you have 12 sites and downgrade from Multi-site Plus to Multi-site’s 10-site limit), your existing sites remain active. However, you won’t be able to add new sites until you’re within the new plan’s limit.

If your submission count exceeds the lower plan’s monthly limit, your sites continue to work. You’ll receive a notification suggesting you upgrade.

Managing your billing

All billing is managed through the Stripe customer portal. Click Manage Subscription on the Billing page to:

Switch plans or billing interval
View your invoice history
Update your payment method
Download invoices for accounting
